The Medical Science Liaison Society is pleased to formally announce the first student chapter of the MSL Society has been established at MCPHS University School of Pharmacy in Boston.

MCPHS has one of the largest MSL and Medical Affairs Fellowship programs and we are very excited to support their students and their program. The MCPH chapter represents the first ever student chapter of the MSL Society.

We have been working with the leadership at MCPHS for over a year and it represents a great opportunity for both the MSL Society and the university.

Dr. Bernard R. Tyrrell, Assoc. Dean and Chair of the Pharmaceutical Business and Administrative Sciences Department, MCPHS University stated:

“We are pleased to announce the formation of the first student chapter of the Medical Science Liaison Society (MSLS) at MCPHS University School of Pharmacy. The overall excellence of our students will be enhanced by the association and interaction with this innovative and much needed professional pharmaceutical organization. I have been impressed with the leadership and dedication of the MSL Society to enhance the standards of Medical Science Liaisons worldwide. Exposure to and training from the MSL Society will only increase the desirability of our PharmD graduates to the Biopharmaceutical Industry.”

Thanks to Dr. Bernard Tyrrell and fellows: Zaid Baara, Usama Aslam, and Paul Huber for all their help over the last year in achieving this important milestone!

The MSL Society continues to strive to offer resources for the global MSL community to help MSLs, MSL leaders, and aspiring MSLs to advance in their careers.
