Medical insights enable organizations to make smart decisions and ensure that they are doing the right thing for patients. MSLs gather insights during their interactions with KOLs and communicate their findings internally to drive decision-making.
However, many MSLs struggle to understand what an insight is versus information a KOL shared with them. As a result, what they communicate back to their organization are not actually insights, do not enable strategic decision making (not actionable), and do not inform the medical strategy.
